The captain exercises line command over ll cadets assigned to the area's cadet post and is responsible for the overall operation of the post under the direction of the post officer, plans all post activities with the advisers providing guidance and assistance as required. The cadet captain shall regularly report the operational status of the post to the post adviser. CADET LIEUTENANT- Platoon leader under the direction of the cadet captain; the lieutenant exercises line command of an assigned platoon or post function. CADET SERGEANT- Squad supervisor, a cadet sergeant is responsible for the performance, competence, and appearance of those cadets under their supervision. A cadet sergeant may also be called upon to assist a platoon leader. CADET CORPORAL-Responsible for providing training, remediation, and evaluation of the newly graduated probationary cadets within a squad. A cadet corporal may also be assigned to assist a cadet sergeant with supervision of an assigned squad. CADET II- Designated after graduation from the cadet academy and successfully completed the mandatory probationary period. CADET I- Cadets who have successfully graduated from the cadet academy and are assigned to the mandatory six-month probationary training period./recruits who are currently attending the cadet academy. RECRUIT- A person training in preparation of attending the cadet academy. |
